The project was required complex integrations that included creating a system to deal with data from-
- the main company database for stock overview and stock levels
- getting pricing levels from a price monitoring software
- Detailed stock information gather from a third party source
- A database of information imported from a third party source of matching cartridges to their compatible printers.
These integrations were all required to happen automatically, without manual input to ensure the system automatically keeps up to date with limited input required from the team at Technology Express.
Dealing with over 14,000 products to match data up from various sources was a large technical challenge. One of the focuses of the Workroom on the project was to ensure business continuity by implementing a series of processes and checks to deal effectively with data conflicts and potential issues that may arise from when dealing with data from numerous sources.
